Custom robot categories

From a module change on an existing robot to a new machine

Custom demand differs by industry, lab, and commercial setting. Form, function, and working environment are not the same job.

The platform focuses on small batches of up to 5 units and can take requests across 30+ robot categories. It does not design or build the hardware itself. It matches the request to an alliance integrator in the right technical field.

Categories and typical requests

  1. 01Humanoid robots

Research-body changes, joint actuators, interaction systems, perception adaptation, university prototypes, and lighter versions. Mostly for research, technical proof, and concept machines.

  2. 02Industrial robots

Station changes, custom end effectors, explosion-proof, dust-proof, or extreme-temperature duty, grasp logic, and line-side functions. For trial lines and new process checks.

  3. 03Service robots

Guide robots, indoor and outdoor inspection, public reception, and care-assist modules. For venues, campuses, malls, and public pilots.

  4. 04Special-purpose robots

Underwater work, security patrol, geological survey, medical trial machines, and education or research specials. For harsh environments and specialist trials.

  5. 05Mobile robots (AGV / AMR)

Chassis changes, navigation for difficult sites, payload changes, and multi-sensor setups. For warehouse, campus, and unusual indoor or outdoor trials.

Two levels of custom work

  1. 01Module-level custom

Start from a robot that already exists. Replace hardware, add sensors, change software, or add and remove modules. The schedule is easier to hold and the cost is lower. It fits a pilot.

  2. 02New-machine custom

The customer brings the performance, duty, envelope, and interfaces. An alliance integrator designs the mechanics, selects hardware, builds the control system, and debugs the software into a new prototype. It fits a research program or a new concept.

Scope note

The platform only matches the request and coordinates the resources. All hardware design, fabrication, and debugging is done by a signed alliance integrator.
