Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy consists of a Global Baseline that applies to all users of the Site, plus Regional Addenda below for jurisdictions with additional requirements. We do not automatically determine which addendum applies to you; please read the addendum that may apply in your location. If local law grants you higher protection, the applicable addendum prevails over the Baseline where they conflict.
Global Baseline
1. Structure and scope
- (1)The Global Robot Customization League (GRCL) publishes this Privacy Policy in a Global Baseline and Regional Addenda on this page.
- (2)"Personal information" means information recorded electronically or otherwise that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. The Baseline applies when you visit or register on the Site. Separate offline contract terms may govern specific processing and take precedence where applicable.
- (3)Regional Addenda supplement the Baseline; they do not replace it except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
2. Information you provide
- (1)Registration and sign-in: email address and verification records; if you use Google sign-in, name, profile picture URL, and email from Google may also be processed.
- (2)Profile: name, customer type, industry, decision role, interface language, country/region, and similar fields you submit.
- (3)You may also provide requirement descriptions, contact details, and attachments (such as images, documents, or model files) through AI chat, customer support, forms, or email.
3. Orders and projects
- (1)To provide customization consultation, quotes, orders, and fulfillment communication, we process project-related information such as requirement descriptions, order identifiers and status, quote and contract milestones, model or document generation task status, and records of verification codes and order or progress emails sent to your registered email.
- (2)This information is usually linked to your account so you can view "My orders/projects" and so we can fulfill platform matching and notification duties.
4. Consultations, support, and attachments
- (1)AI customization chat stores conversation content and uploaded attachments to continue sessions, generate proposals, and link to orders. Online support processes messages you send and our replies.
- (2)Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information in chat (such as full ID numbers, bank card numbers, or health data). If you choose to provide it, we use it only as needed for that consultation or order.
5. Automatically collected technical data
- (1)For security and stability, servers may log access time, request paths, IP addresses, browser type, Referer, and error logs.
- (2)We may set visitor cookies (such as a visitor identifier) to recognize anonymous visitors and record API access logs at the edge layer under a redaction policy.
- (3)When you change language, we may suggest a default language from your IP country/region (not stored as a standalone identifiable profile unless tied to your account).
6. Authentication and security checks
- (1)When we email login or registration codes, we process your email address, send frequency, and verification results. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile performs browser-side bot checks; tokens are handled under Cloudflare's product rules.
- (2)After sign-in, session cookies maintain your logged-in state until you sign out or the session expires.
7. Cookies and local storage
- (1)In addition to session and visitor cookies, your browser may store interface language preference (localStorage), theme settings, AI chat sidebar state, recent conversation identifiers, and similar data to improve experience.
- (2)You can manage cookies and local storage in browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or some features. We do not use cookies for purposes outside this policy.
8. How we use personal information
- (1)We process personal information to provide and maintain the Site; verify identity and protect security; handle requirements, quotes, orders, and support; send transactional and service emails; improve products and perform analytics when analytics tools are enabled; comply with law; and resolve disputes.
- (2)We do not sell your personal information. We do not share identifiable information with third parties for their independent marketing without your consent, except as required by law or to perform a contract.
9. Sharing, processors, and retention
- (1)We may share or entrust processing to providers for email delivery, cloud infrastructure, bot checks, sign-in, and analytics, under confidentiality and security obligations. Where cross-border transfers apply, we take measures described in the Baseline and any applicable Regional Addendum.
- (2)We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or longer if law requires. After retention periods we delete or anonymize data, except short residual copies in technical backups.
10. Your rights (overview), children, and updates
- (1)Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to receive a copy of your personal information. You can update much of your profile in your account. For other requests, use the Contact page.
- (2)Specific procedures, deadlines, and exceptions are set out in the Regional Addendum for your jurisdiction, if any, and in mandatory local law.
- (3)The Site is intended primarily for adults. If you believe we collected a minor's information without guardian consent, contact us to delete it.
- (4)We may update this policy on this page. For material changes we may show a notice on the Site or email you. The effective date is the date of publication unless stated otherwise.
Regional Addenda
The following addenda apply in addition to the Global Baseline if you are located in, or the processing is subject to the laws of, the listed regions. We publish all addenda on this page for transparency.
EEA & United Kingdom Addendum (GDPR / UK GDPR)
1. Controller and legal bases
- (1)For personal information covered by the GDPR or UK GDPR, GRCL acts as controller for processing described in the Baseline, unless we state otherwise.
- (2)We rely on legal bases including: performance of a contract or steps at your request; legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement) balanced against your rights; compliance with legal obligations; and consent where required (for example non-essential cookies or analytics when enabled).
2. Your rights and complaints
- (1)You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
- (2)We respond within one month where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, subject to lawful extensions. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
3. International transfers
- (1)If personal information is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other mechanisms recognized under applicable law.
- (2)You may contact us via the Contact page for more information about transfers relevant to our services.
Mainland China Addendum (PIPL)
1. Handler and processing rules
- (1)Where the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) applies, GRCL processes personal information for the purposes in the Baseline under principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith.
- (2)Separate consent may be required for sensitive personal information, public disclosure, or other processing scenarios mandated by PIPL. We will obtain such consent through clear notice when applicable.
2. Cross-border provision
- (1)If personal information of individuals in mainland China is provided to recipients outside China, we will comply with PIPL requirements, which may include security assessment, certification, standard contract, or other lawful pathways.
- (2)You may contact us via the Contact page for information about cross-border processing relevant to your use of the Site.
3. Your rights under PIPL
- (1)You may exercise rights to access and copy, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, and explanation of processing rules, subject to PIPL and implementing regulations.
- (2)You may file a complaint with the competent authority. We will handle requests within the time limits required by applicable law.
California Addendum (CCPA / CPRA)
1. Categories and disclosures
- (1)In the preceding twelve months we may collect identifiers (such as email), commercial information (orders and inquiries), internet activity (logs and cookies), and professional or profile information you provide, as described in the Baseline.
- (2)We do not sell personal information as defined by California law. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Service providers process data on our behalf under contracts.
2. Your California privacy rights
- (1)California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to obtain information about our practices, subject to statutory exceptions.
- (2)Submit requests via the Contact page. We verify requests as required by law and respond within the applicable timeframe.
3. Non-discrimination
- (1)We will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA/CPRA rights, except as permitted by law.
- (2)Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization as required by law.
